My stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Palm Desert was nothing short of delightful! I checked in here at the last minute after vacating my original hotel (across the street) due to the deplorable condition of that hotel, to find that this hotel was maybe two steps up. This hotel is in some serious need of upgrades. The front desk people were super kind, helpful and accommodating. Had I not been so exhausted from my experience at my previous hotel, I would have asked for a better room. This was a very old room, the AC was an old unit and I had to turn it off to sleep because it was so loud, then the room got too hot. Both nights I was there, at different times in the middle of the night (1 and 2am), there was a very loud noise coming from the ceiling that kept me up for a couple of hours. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast, it was fine.

Do not stay here worst holiday inn I have seen in my life. The first floor rooms feel like a basement in the projects of new york barking dogs smelled terrible. I asked to be moved to a balcony and that room was even worse the view was a power pad and a Porta potty and a horrid noise. This place was just awful the staff were watching us walking around following us. The staff were 2 Hispanic girls who did not like Caucasian women. Were very rude and did not want us there. Save yourself and stay at the new holiday inn express technology dr. Night and day difference.
